U.S. Asset Management is suing Lori Spencer, Gillespie, for $56,441.77, plus court costs, the plaintiff claims is owed for two student loan accounts including one account with a total amount due of $26,487.40 and a second account with a total amount due of $29,954.37 executed in July of 2012.

John Lutz has filed a forcible entry and detainer complaint against Perry Ashby seeking unpaid rent of $4,100 and possession of a residence located in the 300 block of West South Street, Girard.
Jeffry and Diana Helvey have filed a complaint against Niccol Development Co, Inc, Gillespie, seeking $16,684.80, plus court costs, alleging breach of contract after the plaintiff hired the defendant to perform certain improvements to a property in Palmyra. In the complaint, the plaintiffs allege the defendant failed to pay the subcontractors and vendors, failed to properly install new sheeting, failed to properly install new windows and doors, failed to properly install exterior siding, failed to repair a water damaged ceiling in the basement, failed to complete the work and provide materials for renovation of the bathroom and kitchen, and failed to properly install three new interior doors as well as the master closest forcing the plaintiff to spend additional money to complete the work described in the defendants contract.
GEM City Account Service, an assignee of SIU Physicians and Surgeons, is suing Ladonna and Walter Austin, Virden, for $6,106, plus court costs, the plaintiff claims is owed for rendered medical services.
Heights Finance Corporation is suing Robert McLain, Benld, for $2,989.10, plus court costs, the plaintiff claims is owed on a defaulted consumer loan.
Absolute Resolutions Investments LLC is suing Stuart Gibbs for $4,120.43, plus court costs, the plaintiff claims is owed on a defaulted credit card account issued by First National Bank of Omaha.
Michael Fenstermaker, 41, Chesterfield, is charged with aggravated battery in connection with a June 25 incident in Gillespie when he shoved a Gillespie Police Officer to the ground knowing the officer to be engaged in his official duties.
Jessica Smith, 40, Gillespie, is charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine in connection with a March 27 incident in Gillespie.
Stephen Barrick, 43, Virden, is charged with theft in connection with a May 11 incident in Virden when he exerted unized control of less than $500 of cash with the intent to deprive the owner permanent use of the property.
Jessica Holliday, 29, Staunton, is charged with domestic battery and resisting a peace officer in connection with a June 29 incident in Staunton when she struck her boyfriend in the chest with her hand.
Craig Swift, 28, Carlinville, is charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a July 1 incident in Carlinville when he went within 500 feet of a protected person.
Cyle Traster, 31, Carlinville, is charged with two counts of driving under the influence, failure to signal when required, and illegal parking in a roadway in connection with a June 30 incident in Carlinville around 3:20 a.m.
Lammar Johnson, 38, East St. Louis, is charged with driving under the influence of drugs in connection with a June 25 incident at Mile Station Road and County Road 57 around 7:46 a.m.
