Roberta Welch was called 亚洲真人娱乐视讯home by the Lord Jesus, her savior, on November 10, 2020. She was at 亚洲真人娱乐视讯home surrounded by her loving family. She was nearly 101 years old being born on December 15, 1919, to John E. Weidner and Carolina (Lena) Lind Weidner of Bunker Hill.
She was the last of her many siblings which included Norine Morrison, Nelson Weidner, Evelyn Colburn, and J Wilbur Weidner. She lived on the Weidner family farm in Bunker Hill until her marriage to Ross Welch in 1939. She and Ross moved to her grandmother, Johanna Lind’s farm in Dorchester and lived there until retirement upon which they moved to Godfrey.
They had three children, Karen, Sharolyn, and Diana (deceased), and had 5 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
For many years, she sold Avon throughout the area. She loved spelling and went to several State-level Spelling B’s, both in her high school years and years later in events for Senior Citizens. Card playing was one of her favorite things to do with family and friends.
She enjoyed making pies from scratch and had a busy 亚洲真人娱乐视讯home business selling the pies to several area restaurants. Additionally, she was an avid cat lover. Gramma Bertie was the cherished Matriarch of her family and will be missed dearly. No public services are scheduled at this time. Kravanya Funeral 亚洲真人娱乐视讯home is in charge of arrangements.
