Delphia M. Vaughn, 98 of Bunker Hill, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 1, 2020. She was born on November 19, 1921, in Bunker Hill, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Mary Mangels.
She married Charles James Vaughn on January 10, 1941, in Bunker Hill and he passed away on June 19, 1992. Delphia was a member of Christ Life Church of Bunker Hill. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and servant of the Lord.
She is survived by three children, Charles (Darlene) Vaughn of Shipman, James (Joan) Vaughn of Bunker Hill, and Vicky (Roy) Anderson of Brighton; seven grandchildren, Linda (Timothy) VanArsdale, Charla (Micky) Flanigan, Amanda Vaughn, Kimberly (Caleb) Albers, Amy (Donald) Harvill, Leah (Evan) Lamb, & Michael Anderson; eight great-grandchildren, Ashley Parmentier, Sierra VanArsdale, Braden Flanigan, Darcie Flanigan, Andrew Albers, Alicia Albers, Tiffany Cartwright, and Joshua Harvill; and one great great grandchild, Jaxson VanArsdale.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Irma Frank, Bertha Gosch, and Fairy Wieseman.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 5, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Bunker Hill City Cemetery in Bunker Hill with Pastor Jeff Warix officiating. Memorials are suggested to Christ Life Church of Bunker Hill or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
